Rodrigo Valades (29) holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tec de Monterrey. He was also an exchange student in Germany and after finishing his university he had a technical training in Industrial Engineering and Quality Control in Kitakyushu, Japan. He has had the opportunity to share experiences with people from all over the world in different circumstances: work, fun, projects, trips and volunteering. Rodrigo has worked in Mexico, Germany, Switzerland, Greece and Hungary in manufacturing and services companies as well as universities. He conceptualized the "save something today" initiative.
Roberto Bonilla (50) is a Mechanical Engineer and holds a Master Degree in the same field. He is the coordinatior of the Center for Human Emergence in Mexico and Latin America and also represents Dr. Don Beck and his Spiral Dynamics. He has more than 20 years of experience managing change in private companies and government. Roberto has also taught to bachelor and master degree students in several universities.
Alfredo Aguilar (45) es Ingeniero Industrial Mecánico y Maestro en Ingeniería Mecánica con especialidad en Diseño y Manufactura por Computadora. En el ITESM ha fungido como profesor de tiempo completo y como profesor investigador en el Centro de Sistemas de Manufactura. Ha colaborado en empresas nacionales y trasnacionales a nivel de dirección obteniendo bajo su gestión premios de carácter internacional, ha emprendido también varios negocios por cuenta propia. Desde 1991 se mantiene en constante actualización, tomando cursos y talleres, entre los que destacan: Coaching, Aprendizaje Acelerado, Tecnología de Grupos, Sincronización de Manufactura, DOE, Enfoque Sistémico, Evaluación y Diagnóstico, TOC, entre otros.
Victor Díaz (60) is a Chemical Engineering getting his title from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro and at present studies an online MBA at Phoenix University. In 2006 he became an independent consultant in the following areas: profitability increase, organizational development and forging and casting product development. He has more than 30 years of professional experience in the forging and smelting industry with significative expertise in a large variety of metals and alloys. In this industry he has worked in implementing quality systems, being responsible of processes, design and start up of new lines as well as managing the whole business as CEO. He has worked in Mexico and abroad. He runs marathons and speaks fluently English, Portuguese and French.

To speak chronological of a sequence of distributed events, would be to desconsiderar an endless ones of ideas, many people in different parts from the world, whose particular histories not necessarily happened at similar moments. But that, really, contributed to that it went away arming a puzzle, which already is a reality and a good part is shaped in this space of Internet. However, it has a little while from as, they began to join the pieces of the puzzle. It was late of April of 2003 during an event to which originating people of all type of social circles of Mexico went. The exercise to that I was put under, consisted of elaborating, along with my equipment, a proposal to foment the sustainable development in the country.
Hablar de una secuencia de eventos repartidos cronológicamente, sería desconsiderar un sin fin de ideas, de muchas personas en diferentes partes del mundo, cuyas historias particulares no necesariamente sucedieron en momentos similares. Pero que, en definitiva, contribuyeron a que se fuera armando un rompecabezas, el cual ya es una realidad y una buena parte está plasmado en este espacio de Internet.
No obstante, hay un momento a partir del cual, se empezaron a juntar las piezas del rompecabezas. Era una tarde de abril de 2003 durante un evento al que acudieron personas provenientes de todo tipo de círculos sociales de México. El ejercicio al que fui sometido, consistió en elaborar, junto con mi equipo, una propuesta para fomentar el desarrollo sustentable en el país.
“Ahorrar algo hoy” no fue la conclusión de ese ejercicio para mi equipo, pero esos días bastaron para comprender que potencialmente había algo que se podía hacer para mejorar el país e incluso el mundo, de una manera consistente y progresiva.
A partir de entonces, procuré armar el rompecabezas, con las piezas que yo descubría y con las que me iban ayudando amigos, enemigos, conocidos, desconocidos y prácticamente el mundo en sí.
Considero que el rompecabezas ya está avanzado a tal punto, que tanto la intervención de más personas en el acomodo de las piezas, así como el jugar con el rompecabezas, es decir, empezar a ahorrar algo diariamente, conforman los siguientes pasos.
"To save something today" it was not the conclusion of that exercise for my equipment, but those days were enough to include/understand that potentially there was something was possible to be made to even improve the country and the world, of a consistent and progressive way. From then, I tried to arm the puzzle, with the pieces that I discovered and with whom they were helping to friends, enemies to me, known, not known and practically the world in himself. I consider that the puzzle already is advanced to such point, that as much the intervention of more people in the arrangement of the pieces, as well as playing with the puzzle, that is to say, to begin to save something daily, conforms the following steps.
Therefore, basically the history has just started to be written at end of 2006, so let's continue it...
